PROFESSIONAL PROFILE OF MARCO BIANCHINI                                        ITA 
 
- From 2006 to 2015 he was professor of Survey and technical analysis of ancient monuments and of Dissemination of multimedia archaeological data at the Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli; 
- Since 2009 he is professor of Archaeological survey and of Ancient building techniques in the II level master degree “Architettura per l’Archeologia, Archeologia per l’Architettura" at the Dipartimento di Architettura e Progetto of the Università degli Studi di Roma, La Sapienza; 
- In 2014-15 he was part of the teaching staff of INNOVA (Virtual Archaeology Network International) and SEAV (Spanish Society of Virtual Archaeology); he participates at the realization of the digital training program Innova Master’s Degree in Virtual Cultural Heritage; 
- In 2014 he has obtained the national scientific qualification for university teaching of archaeology as associate professor. 
- Since 2010 he conducts research and documentation of archaeological sites, medieval castles, historic buildings in the territory of Western Marsica in Abruzzo. The results of these investigations have been the subject of publications, exhibitions, conferences; 
- Since 2007 he is member of the Missione Archeologica Italiana di Cirene of the Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli. In Cyrene, from 2007 to 2010, he was in charge of the graphic documentation coordination, working on a graphics processing project in CAD system for the survey and 3D reconstruction of the Theatre-Amphitheatre of Cyrene; 
- From 2015 he participates in the Missione Archeologica Italiana of the Seconda Università degli Studi di Napoli in Cyprus and Palestine. He coordinated the activities of survey and graphic documentation conducted in the area of the Sanctuary of Apollo Ylates near the ancient city of Kourion in Cyprus and in the ancient site of Askaria near Ramallah (West Bank). 
- In 2008 he created the website www.rilievoarcheologico.it, dedicated to the archaeological survey and study of ancient architecture, including hundreds of pages and images, freely downloadable under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, regularly updated; 
- Since 1998 he devoted himself to the study and use of digital technologies with particular regard to their application in the field of archaeological survey and three-dimensional reconstructions of ancient buildings. Among the main 3D reconstructions: the Theatre-amphitheater of the Apollo’s sanctuary at Cyrene, Libya (work in progress) and the Trajan’s Markets in Rome; the latter is visible on website:  http://www.rilievoarcheologico.it/modello_mt_index.htm 
- Since 1982 he has performed surveys of dozens of ancient buildings and large excavations.
